Friends Life
Friends Life is a new group that brings together the UK business of Friends Provident and part of AXA’s UK life and pensions business, including Winterthur Life UK.
This website is designed to provide you with details about your products and investments, as well as fund information.
What does this mean for you?
There is no need for you to do anything. Importantly, as a result of this change your product has not changed nor has the way you can contact us. In fact the only change you should notice is the use of the name Friends Life.
In particular, if you are making or receiving regular payments to or from us, you will see that ‘Winterthur Life’ may change to ‘Friends Life’ on your bank statement.
You may also notice changes to our fund names. For example, some of the fund names where 'Winterthur' or the abbreviation 'WL' has previously been used will change to 'FL' or 'FL WL'.
If you have any other products that remain with the AXA group these will continue as normal and you do not need to take any action.
